Cetacean’s Sanctuary

The excursion to the “Cetacean’s Sanctuary” is perfect at any age to better your knowledge of the sea fauna that lives in the coast between Italy, France and Monaco. On board you will find a qualified biologist who will comment the sightings and will enrich your experience with useful information and scientific curiosities. For those who love whale watching, but not only, it is a breath-taking experience! The excursion lasts differently according to the starting harbour and booking is compulsory. If you catch sight of nothing, you will have a discount of 50% for a following excursion.

Gallinara Island

Journey in the middle of nature: Gallinara Island will amaze you with its luxuriant flora, its intended coasts and its clear sea. One of the greatest colonies of herring seagulls in Liguria lives here and the island is ideal for those who love walks or look for the mystery of sea bottoms.

Laigueglia

In the heart of Palm Riviera you will find this little jewel, among the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”, with its old town centre (called “budello”) that reminds of the old times when the village was inhabited by fishermen and sailors. You will get lost walking through the beautiful narrow streets, churches and historic buildings, until you get to the sea, with its unique, a bit pink sand. The mild climate make Laigueglia the ideal destination all year round.

San Fruttuoso and Portofino

San Fruttuoso is an amazing treasure you can reach only by boat: you can take a bath and relax on the beach or have a walk and enjoy some fresh air in the cafés with a view over the sea.

You can visit the San Fruttuoso Abbey, an ancient dwelling for fishermen and pirates that then became ownership of Genoese princes Doria. You can enter the cloistered complex with its Cloister, Chapter House and the Church.

Local boats connect the sea village San Fruttuoso to Portofino in about 20 minutes (the journey is included in the ticket). Other littler boats with glass bottom allow tourists to admire the 17 meter deep Cristo degli Abissi (Christ of The Abyss), who is patron saint of divers.

Leave San Fruttuoso and reach Portofino, a very fascinating village where you can visit Castello Brown and its garden, rich in roses and flowers.

Cinque Terre

Under the protection of Unesco, Cinque Terre will welcome you with their unique and not to be missed beauties! You will experience Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore through their narrow streets, terraces, colourful houses and amazing sea to relax and have fun with the whole family! The motor vessel stops about 3 hours in Monterosso.

Tigullio – Porto Venere – Cinque Terre

Let’s leave from Levante (Santa Margherita, Rapallo, Chiavari, Lavagna, Sestri Levante) to discover the beauties of Tigullio: you will stop an hour in Vernazza and then you will coast the villages of Cinque Terre to reach Porto Venere, where you will stay 3 hours. On the way back, you will have a panoramic tour of Palmaria Island.

The discover of the port basins (Old Port, New Port and Outer Harbour) by boat takes an hour and a half: this is a very original point of view to experience the Superba, from Old Port to Genoa Pegli, looking at the port beauties and at the Lanterna, historic symbol of the city.
